Donation Policy

Care Across Continents Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are committed to responsible stewardship of all donations and to transparency with our donors.
1. Tax-Deductible Status
All donations to Care Across Continents Inc are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Our EIN is EIN: 33-5032365
2. Use of Funds
Donations will be used to support our mission and programs. If a donor designates a gift for a particular program, we will honor the donor’s intent whenever possible. If we cannot use a designated gift for its intended purpose, we will use it for a similar purpose in support of our mission.
3. Acknowledgment of Gifts
We provide written acknowledgments for all donations, including tax receipts for contributions of $250 or more, as required by the IRS.
4. Refund Policy
We handle donations with care. If you believe a donation was made in error or an incorrect amount was charged, please contact us within 30 days of the donation. Refunds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
5. Recurring Donations
Donors who establish recurring donations may cancel or change their recurring gift at any time by contacting us or through our online donation platform.
6. Privacy of Donor Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade donor information. Donor data is used only for processing donations, communicating with donors, and as required by law.
7. In-Kind Donations
We accept in-kind donations (goods or services) that support our mission. The donor is responsible for determining the fair market value of in-kind donations for tax purposes.
